1. Controller

2. Which data we process

• Contact form: name, e-mail address, country/time zone, language of interest, subject and your message.
• E-mail and WhatsApp: the contact details you use and the content of your message.
• Documents: certificates, diplomas, references or texts that you send us for translation, editing or recognition – by e-mail or through the upload field of the contact form. Uploaded files are transmitted encrypted and kept in a protected area of our website that only we can access; they are deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with.
• Server log files: IP address, date and time of access, browser type and operating system – automatically collected by the hosting provider.

3. Purpose and legal basis

We process your data exclusively to answer your enquiry, to prepare an offer and to carry out the agreed service. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures and contract performance) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, functioning website operation).

4. Confidentiality of your documents

Documents you entrust to us are transmitted encrypted, treated strictly confidentially and used exclusively for your assignment. They are not passed on to third parties without your consent, apart from specialists bound to secrecy who are involved in your assignment (for example a second reviewer under the four-eyes principle).

5. Storage period

We store your data only as long as necessary for the purpose stated, or as long as statutory retention periods require. Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are deleted after 6 months.

6. Hosting

This website is hosted by an external hosting provider on behalf of LINGUVIA Academy. The provider processes the server log files described above on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Details of the provider are available on request via info@linguvia-academy.com.

7. Fonts and external services

This website loads web fonts from Google Fonts. When a page is called up, your browser connects to Google servers, which may transmit your IP address. The fonts are used so that the site displays consistently in all five languages, including Arabic and Tifinagh script. No cookies are set by this. 8. WhatsApp

If you contact us via WhatsApp, the data processing of WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. applies in addition. We use WhatsApp only for communication that you initiate yourself.

10. Cookies

This website does not use tracking or marketing cookies. Only technically necessary storage is used, for example to protect the contact form against spam.
